PVD 18K gold plating (or 925 silver plating). Stainless steel is very durable and resistant to tarnishing. 

The PVD plating is 10 times thicker than the flash plating used on ordinary street jewelry, and can last for many years if our care guidelines are followed. 

Stainless steel is hypoallergenic, meaning our jewelry will not turn your skin green, and we never use lead or nickel.

14K-18K Gold Filled (or Silver Filled)

“Gold-filled jewelry” refers to jewelry with a base metal core and a layer of pure gold wrapped around the outside. 

14K gold (containing at least 5% gold) is mechanically bonded to the base metal surface through heat and pressure. 

This bond is permanent, making the gold durable and resistant to tarnishing, and can last for many years if our care guidelines are followed. 

This is the perfect option for those looking for an affordable alternative that looks similar to pure gold.

Is your jewelry “waterproof”?

“Waterproof” jewelry uses a stainless steel base material and is plated using a special process called PVD plating. 

This plating process means our jewelry is much more durable than the flash plating used on ordinary street jewelry. 

Therefore, it is perfect for everyday wear and will not tarnish quickly or turn your skin green.

 While PVD gold plating is 10 times more durable than traditional methods, it is not completely permanent, 

as the only truly waterproof and non-fading option is pure gold. 

Gold-plated or gold-filled jewelry is an affordable alternative, especially for girls who like to constantly add new pieces to their growing jewelry collection!

Caring for your jewellery

·Any lotions, deodorants, perfumes, household items can seriously harm your gold plated jewels and discolour them over time.

·All stainless steel based jewellery can be worn in water. However, constant contact with water 

and liquids can reduce the lifespan of your jewellery so we advise to remove when exercising, 

washing your hands, showering, swimming or doing anything that involves moisture.

·Store your jewellery pieces individually, you can keep them in our Tomorrow Lady organic cotton pouch so that they don’t rub together, scratch or tangle.

·Remove jewellery when sleeping. 

·Always remember that your jewellery should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off when dressing.

Caring for your pearls

·Wipe pearls gently with a lint free cloth and store in the protective Tomorrow Lady pouch provided. 

·For a pearl to keeps its luster, it’s best to remove pearl jewellery before any contact with water or liquids.

Cleaning

·After wearing, clean your jewellery carefully with a soft, non-abrasive, soft jewellery cloth. This helps maintain or bring back its shine.
